It’s only been a few months since Mona  released their single “Listen To Your Love” and “Trouble on The Way” on their own label ‘Zion Noiz Recordings via Rough Trade shops and independent stores across the UK this year.

Since then, the gang of four has signed with Mercury Records in the US, and is set to kick off select winter tour dates in New York City, Brooklyn, Los Angeles and San Francisco to much anticipation. Mona makes arm-pumping, vein-throbbing, knee-jittering, raw-throated, sing-a-long rock n’roll. If you haven’t heard the thunderous vintage rock that Mona plays, you shouldn’t wait another day.

They have captured the attention of major media outlets including BBC Radio, who named the band in their Sound of 2011 poll, MTV, NME, Clash Magazine and Q, all of which named Mona among the top new bands to watch in 2011. Enthralled with their sound, and their devout southern church upbringing story, music critics and fans are addicted to the explosive and confident cool that Mona brings to the stage and their songs. They even nabbed a prestigious spot on the UK’s Later with Jools Holland last month- a rare task for a band who hasn’t yet released their debut LP. Watch the performance here
