Manic Street Preacher’s Announce New Single

Manic Street Preachers have picked their third single from their 10th studio album released last fall. They confirmed via twitter that their new single ‘Postcards From a Young Man’ will be accompanied by brand new B-sides.

The band tweeted on Twitter.com/ManicsPostcards, “…3rd single next year, title track, time to record some B-sides…”

NME reports that Bassist Nicky Wire has already confirmed that the band are in the process of writing their 11th studio album, which has been provisionally titled ‘70 Songs Of Hatred And Failure’.

The band has two make up gigs scheduled for the Brixton Academy on 21.01.2011 and 22.01.2011 . These are the rescheduled shows from 28/29th October cancellations.
