Klaxons are to release an EP of unreleased material as a free download on Christmas Day.

Entitled ‘Landmarks of Lunacy‘, the EP will feature five tracks recorded by the band during early sessions for their ‘Surfing The Void‘ album back in 2008, and will be available from klaxons.net/ on the 25th.

Commenting on the new release, the band said: “There are periods of time that we have spent together as a band that the only suitable word that comes close to describing them is ‘magical’. The three nocturnal weeks spent at Black Box studio in 2008 under the loving guidance of James Ford was undeniably the point where the magic was peaking.”

Klaxons’ ‘Surfing The Void‘ record was released in the August of this year.

‘Landmarks Of Lunacy’ Tracklist:

‘The Pale Blue Dot’
‘Silver Forest’
‘Ivy Leaves’
‘Wildeflowers’
‘Marble Fields’
