The band, who are set to release a new album next year, debuted new material at the gig to around 500 fans, alongside a selection of their established hits such as ‘Times Like These‘ and ‘Learn To Fly‘. In addition, Dave Grohl was also joined by his former Nirvana bandmate Krist Novoselic for a rendition of the 90s band’s b-side ‘Marigold’.
Early reports suggest new material which received it’s debut at the show included ‘White Limo’, ‘Back & Forth’ and ‘Rosemary‘. There are also claims the gig was filmed with a view to featuring on a forthcoming documentary film which is to tell the story of Foo Fighters’ career to date, including a look at the making of their new record.
