The Courteeners Issue New EP With Yeah Yeah Yeahs Cover


courteeners_epManchester’s The Courteeners have released details of a brand new EP to be released next month to coincide with their UK tour.

The EP is titled ‘Electric Lick‘, and is to feature a cover the Yeah Yeah Yeahs‘ 2009 hit single ‘Zero‘, coupled with two new songs ‘Three Months‘ and ‘Scratch Your Name Upon My Lips‘. Also included are ‘Swear Down‘ and ‘Lullaby‘, both taken from their recent studio album ‘Falcon‘, which was widely praised as a step forward from their debut ‘St. Jude‘.

The EP will be released as a download on December 5th, with a physical vinyl edition following a day later.

The Courteeners’ UK tour is due to kick off in Leicester on December 4th, and will be supported by The Last Shadow Puppets‘ and former Rascals frontman Miles Kane. The dates culminate with a large hometown show at Manchester’s MEN Arena on the 10th of the month, where support will be provided by I Am Kloot.
