Mystery Jets Announce London Charity Gig

mystery-jetsLondon’s Mystery Jets have announced details of a special hometown acoustic gig to take place later this month.

The show has been arranged in support of the Variety Club children’s charity and will be held at London’s Blues Kitchen venue on November 16th.

Mystery Jets have enjoyed much praise since the release of their third studio album ‘Serotonin‘ in July, with the BBC labelling it as a ‘varied, touching, excitable and witty third album’. The second single from the album, ‘Show Me The Light‘, was released this week.

The announcement comes with the band currently engaged in a large UK and Ireland tour, which began in Manchester last month. They will finish the tour with a date at London’s Roundhouse venue four days before the scheduled charity gig.

Orlando Weeks, of Mystery Jets’ indie counterparts The Maccabees, is due to DJ at the charity event.
