kasabian2Kasabian have today been confirmed as the final headline act for next year’s Isle Of Wight festival, completing a strong looking trio for the event’s 10th anniversary since it’s return.

The Leicester band join previously announced headliners Kings Of Leon and Foo Fighters at the festival, which has also cemented the booking of recently reformed Pulp for what is already looking like being one of the stand-out line-ups of the 2011 festival season.

Long seen as one of Britain’s premiere live bands, Kasabian are now also forging a reputation as a hugely crowd-pleasing headline act, as they effortlessly carry their much-vaunted live show to the big stage, led by enigmatic frontman Tom Meighan.

Tickets for the 2011 Isle Of Wight festival go on sale on this Friday (November 19th) from 9am. The event will take place next year from June 10th-12th.
