Bright Eyes Announce New Album Details

oberst_-conor_2_Bright Eyes have revealed details of their new studio album ‘The People’s Key‘, which will be released on February 14th, 2011, and have also announced two live shows in New York and London.

The indie-folk ensemble, led by songwriter Conor Oberst, will support the follow up to 2007′s ‘Cassadaga‘ with a date at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall on March 9th, and a further show at London’s Royal Albert Hall on June 23rd.

Bright Eyes reached a creative and commercial peak with the release of 2005 album ‘I’m Wide Awake, It’s Morning‘, which featured heavily in publications’ End Of Year lists, including being placed at #1 on the UK’s now defunct Planet Sound teletext service, while the single ‘Lua‘ was a hit in the US.
