A live favourite from The White Stripes is among the tracks personally selected by country music legend Loretta Lynn to appear on a new tribute album in her honour.

Named ‘Coal Miner’s Daughter‘, a title taken from the singer’s 1980 biographical film, the album will feature a selection of cover versions of Loretta Lynn’s tracks, including The White Stripes’ version of ‘Rated X‘, a former live staple of the duo which was recorded back in 2002.

In addition to The White Stripes, the album will also consist of contributions from artists across the music spectrum, with Loretta Lynn’s country contemporary Gretchen Wilson opening the record, while rockers Paramore will offer their take on ‘You Ain’t Woman Enough (To Take My Man)‘, and veteran Kid Rock appears with ‘I Know How‘. The album is due for release in the US on November 9th.
