Jamie Hince, guitarist with rock duo The Kills, has wed supermodel Kate Moss at a secret Italian ceremony, reports the UK’s Daily Mirror newspaper.
The couple were rumoured to have gotten engaged back in January, and now The Mirror is reporting the couple tied the knot quietly in Sicily. “It was quiet – but still very romantic,” says the ‘source’. “Kate’s had a fairly turbulent love life but she’s a romantic at heart. The plans were kept very quiet as Kate wanted the day to be low-key and purely a celebration of their love.
She’s never been one for convention or tradition, but Jamie’s been there for her through thick and thin, and she simply felt the time was right. They planned the day for weeks and were so excited. Kate didn’t want a stuffy, formal do, but something spiritual. Minutes after tying the knot, the giggling newlyweds were outside the church, dancing under trees.”
Jamie Hince has released three acclaimed studio albums with his fellow Kills member Alison Mosshart, 2003’s ‘Keep On Your Mean Side‘, ‘No Wow‘ (2005) and 2008’s ‘Midnight Boom‘. Reports of a new album from the duo have been around since last year, but there is still no official word as yet on an official release date for their fourth record.
