Coventry’s rising stars Pint Shot Riot recently released their new single ‘Hazy Days‘ through Life In The Big City Recordings, the latest taster from their hotly-anticipated debut album which is due in early 2011.
Recorded in producer Peter Miles‘ studio in Ashburton, Devon, the track is described by the band as ‘an inner city tale of life before and after a whirlwind romance; the perfect song to reminisce over any summer romance’. and looks set to continue the momemtum being built up by the four-piece, who have become a fixture in many homes already due to their many appearances on a selection of huge-selling computer games such as FIFA 10, Need For Speed Nitro and The Sims 3.
A big draw in the their hometown, the band regularly sell-out Coventry’s 1,000 capacity Kasbah club and have landed coveted support slots with the likes of Glasvegas, We Are Scientists and Live4ever favourites Band Of Skulls amongst others, while lead singer Rocket has also had first-hand experience of the touring circus which surrounds Pete Doherty after he acoustically supported the Libertines man at one of his Coventry solo shows.
