modest_mouseModest Mouse are to re-issue two of their acclaimed EPs next month. The American band, led by the unique talents of Isaac Brock, will re-release 1997′s ‘The Fruit That Ate Itself‘ and 2001′s ‘Sad Sappy Sucker‘ on November 9th. Both EPs were originally issued through K Records.

Now available on both CD and vinyl formats, they can be pre-ordered on Glacial Pace Recordings at the label’s website, while download editions of the EPs can be purchased at iTunes and other digital music outlets.

Modest Mouse have also announced they will be performing at Neil Young’s 24th Annual Bridge School Benefit in Mountain View, CA on October 23rd and 24th. The benefit helps to assist children with physical impairments and communication needs and boosts funds for technologies which can assist patients. The first benefit concert took place in 1986 and featured performances from the likes of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen.

Modest Mouse will join acts including Pearl Jam, Elvis Costello, Grizzly Bear and Billy Idol who have already been confirmed for this year’s event.
