New Website Launched For ‘Upside Down: The Creation Records Story’ Film

After the new film ‘Upside Down: The Creation Records Story‘ finally received it’s debut to rave reviews at the London Film Festival recently, a new website, upsidedownthemovie.com, has launched which promises to provide fans with all the latest news from the film, with some ‘special up front announcements’ said to be due very soon.

Kings Of Leon Add Historic Slane Castle Date To 2011 Tour

If the fastest selling album of the year, a sold out arena tour, and five recently announced massive outdoor UK gigs isn’t quite enough Kings Of Leon for you, the band have now announced a further date to their 2011 summer visit, and will play a historic date at Ireland’s Slane Castle next May.

Review: The Charlatans – ‘My Foolish Pride’

Sometimes the best songs are the simple ones. They don’t always require a Stairway To Heaven approach. Just stumble across an infectious riff, write a good melody around it and wait for the royalty cheques to hit the doormat. Forever? Impossible? Of course, in reality it is not as easy as it sounds otherwise we’d all be swimming in guitar shaped pools rather than the pissy ones at our local leisure centre. The Charlatans somehow make this art-form sound effortless, a quality that some of the greatest bands in history have possessed and subsequently influenced followers to produce music of their own and continue this beautiful cycle.

Peter, Bjorn and John Go ‘Pop Rock’ On New Album

Swedish indie band Peter, Bjorn and John have revealed their new album has developed a ‘pop rock’ theme, despite the trio originally striving for a harsher, punk sound during recording sessions.
