The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers’ solo career is off to a strong start, with his debut ’Flamingo’ entering at number one on the UK Album chart. Last week’s no.1 ‘Teenage Dream’ drops to #2, while The xx’s debut album climbs to number three following it’s recent triumph at the Mercury Music Prize. Outside the top ten, James’ latest mini-album ‘The Morning After’ is at #19.

In the UK Singles chart, Alexandra Burke is on top with her track ‘Start Without You’.

In the UK Indie Album chart, The xx’s self-titled debut is on top for another week, while The Charlatans have entered at number two with their new album ‘Who We Touch‘ and Villagers re-enter the top ten after missing out on the Mercury Music Prize. In the UK Indie Singles chart, Katy B is on top with the single ’Katy On a Mission’.

Here’s our round-up of the latest UK tour news, which this week features Kings Of Leon and Ash.

Kings Of Leon have unveiled details of a UK arena tour as they gear up for the release of their new album ’Come Around Sundown’. The band will begin in Manchester on December 13th and end at London’s O2 Arena on the 21st.
