Legendary songwriter Neil Young has unveiled the tracklisting for his forthcoming solo album, which will be released on September 27th.
Entitled ‘Le Noise‘, the new record will consist of eight original tracks which were recorded with Bob Dylan cohort Daniel Lanois, who has said of the new LP: “Neil was so appreciative of the sonics that we presented to him,” and added that the pair had “taken the acoustic guitar to a new level.”
One of the most prolific musicians of all-time, the album follows Neil Young’s 2009 LP ‘Fork In The Road‘, which was inspired by the conversion of Young’s Lincoln Continental to run on alternative energy. The album’s title track was nominated in the ‘Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance’ category at this year’s Grammy Awards.
