Manic Street Preachers - Postcards From a Young Man

Phil Collins’ new solo album ’Going Back’ climbs three places this week to top the UK Album Chart, knocking last week’s chart topper The Script to #2, while Manic Street Preachers’ new record ‘Postcards From a Young Man’ debuts at no.3 and Mumford & Sons’Sigh No More’ moves back into the top ten.




In the UK Singles chart, Bruno Mars is on top with the track ‘Just The Way You Are (Amazing)’.

In the UK Indie Album chart, The xx’s self-titled debut remains on top for another week, and Prodigy‘sInvaders Must Die‘ is back in the top ten at number eight. Emma’s Imagination are on top of the UK Indie Singles Chart with the single ‘Focus‘.

Acclaimed songwriter Laura Marling has announced details of a UK which will begin in Sheffield on November 20th. The dates will include a spot supporting Vampire Weekend in London on December 2nd.

Mercury winners Elbow will mark their comeback next year with a UK Arena tour to commence in Glasgow in March. The tour will be in support of their as-yet-untitled new album, the follow up to 2008’s hugely successful ‘The Seldom Seen Kid’.

Two Door Cinema Club have announced details of three new UK and Ireland dates for next March. The band will visit Glasgow, Dublin and London next year, and will also release a new, expanded version of their debut album ‘Tourist History’ on October 4th.
