Guns n Roses Bottled Off Stage In Dublin – Video

axl-rose Guns n Roses carried their recent problems in the UK with them to Ireland last night, and were reportedly bottled off stage after arriving on stage over an hour late once again.

Axl Rose and co’s stay in the UK and Ireland got off to a shaky start last week when Axl’s twitter account declared their tour cancelled after it was hacked. Since then, the band have become embroiled in a war of words with the Reading festival organisers after they broke their curfew during their headline show and were forced off stage prematurely.

Now the troubles appear to have continued at their date at Dublin’s O2 Arena, with BBC’s Newsbeat claiming the group’s set was halted after twenty minutes due to jeering from the crowd who were upset at another late start.

As bottles began to be thrown on to the stage, Axl Rose is said to have told the crowd: “Here’s the deal – One more bottle and we go home. It’s up to you. We would like to stay. We want to stay. We want to have some fun. If you don’t want to have fun, all you’ve got to do is let us know. We’ve got no problem, we’ll go on our way.”

After three more tracks, the band left the stage, forcing a member of the venue’s staff to try to calm the audience down. “We’re trying hard to get Axl to come back on stage,” they told the crowd. “I will ask you to refrain from throwing items. I promise you a great show, but you need to be calm.” They returned 35 minutes later to finish up the gig for those who had remained in the arena.

Guns n Roses are now due to begin a long tour through Europe before returning to the UK on October 18th for a date at Manchester’s MEN Arena.
