Former Smiths frontman Morrissey has marked the re-release of his single ‘Everyday Is Like Sunday‘ by listing his thirteen favourite tracks ever on his official Facebook page.

Unsurprisingly, veteran American rock band the New York Dolls topped his list with their 1973 single ‘Jet Boy‘; before finding success with The Smiths, Morrissey famously had a letter praising the New York Dolls printed in an edition of NME. Second on the list is Sparks’ eccentrically brilliant ‘This Town Aint Big Enough For Both Of Us‘, while The Sundown Playboys’ 1972 single ‘Saturday Nite Special‘, which was released on The Beatles’ Apple label, is third.
