The Beatles’ Apple Records To Reissue Back Catalogue

The acts signed to The Beatles’ record label Apple are set to have a selected number of their albums remastered and reissued on October 25th.

Founded by the Fab Four in 1968, the label featured acts including Mary Hopkin, Jackie Lomax, James Taylor and Billy Preston, who worked with The Beatles during their Let It Be period, and by the mid-70s had become the outlet for much of the members’ solo output following the band’s split. The news comes on the back of reports former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher’s decision to produce a movie about the infamous story of the label based on the book ‘The Longest Cocktail Party’ by Richard DiLello.
