Spiritualized have announced plans to stage a one-off performance of their seminal 1997 album Ladies & Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall on July 30th. The performance, which follows similar shows in the UK, will feature the Spiritualized live band plus a choir, 8 piece string section and horns. This will be the only North American show and the last performance of its kind.
Led by enigmatic frontman Jason Spaceman, Spiritualized are one of Britain’s most revered and influential rock bands. Founded in 1990 their catalog includes Lazer Guided Melodies, Pure Phase, Let It Come Down, Amazing Grace and Songs In A&E. J.Spaceman is currently in the studio recording the follow up to Songs In A&E.
