News Round-Up: Muse, REM & Band Of Skulls


News on Muse’s support acts for their upcoming UK stadium tour, the details on REM’s new re-issue, the latest acts added to this summer’s Camp Bestival event and new Band Of Skulls releases.

Muse have announced the full line-up for their September shows at Wembley Stadium and the L.C.C., with established Brit acts Biffy Clyro and Editors being joined by the likes of The Big Pink and White Lies.

Line Up:

Wembley, 10/9: Muse, Lily Allen, The Big Pink, White Rabbits
Wembley, 11/9: Muse, Biffy Clyro, White Lies, I Am Arrows

US veterans REM will re-issue their third studio album ‘Fables Of The Reconstruction’ to mark it’s 25th anniversary. Out on July 13th, the re-issue will include a remastered version of the LP, a 14-track disc of early recordings entitled ‘The Athens Demos’, and a previously  unreleased track ‘Throw Those Trolls Away’. The album will be available on double CD, vinyl and digital download.

Upcoming singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding and R & B artist Tinie Tempah lead the list of the latest acts to be confirmed for this summer’s Camp Bestival which will be held at Lulworth Castle, Dorset from July 30th to August 1st. Other groups also newly confirmed for the event include Visions of Trees, Cooly Haste and Soft Rocks.

Band Of Skulls will re-issue their album ‘Baby Darling Doll Faced Honey’ on September 20th. The release will come with new artwork and new bonus tracks ‘Light Of The Morning (Live from the Troubadour)’, ‘I Know What I Am (XFM Session)’, ‘Fires (XFM Session)’, ‘Blood (XFM Session)’ and ‘Fire (Dimbleby & Capper mix)’. In addition, they will release a new single, ‘Fires’, a week earlier.
