Keith Richards’ Autobiography Set For Release In October

keith-richards Keith Richards will finally release his much-anticipated autobiography this October, according to the legendary guitarist.

Speaking to the UK’s Independent newspaper, Richards revealed he is now waiting for the proofs to be returned for the book which he first announced his intention to write in 2007. “I’m waiting for some proofs to come back,” he said. “It’s kind of weird writing about your own life. Who’d be interested in that? But then, I realize there is a lot of interest, so talking to some of the people that were there and their version of events to try and correlate it all was very interesting, a kind of kaleidoscopic bunch of experiences.”

The book is sure to be an explosive read, detailing the life of one of rock’s most celebrated, and controversial stars. The imfamous stories behind the making of The Rolling Stones’ landmark release ‘Exile On Main St.‘, being revisited for the upcoming documentary and re-release of the album, give a glimpse of the rock n roll excess and hedonistic lifestyle embraced by Keith Richards for many years. In fact, perhaps the most surprising thing about the book is that Keith could remember enough of the past forty years to fill more than five pages.
