Gorillaz are set to play a 5 gig run in large UK arenas this September.
The “Escape To Plastic Beach‘ tour tour will start out on September 10th in Brimingham. Damon Albarn’s lads will then play in Newcastle, Manchester and end the mini tour with 2 shows at London’s O2 Arena.
Recent Gorillaz shows featured such illustrious guests as ex-Clash members Mick Jones and Paul Simonon as well as guest contributions by Mos Def, De La Soul and Shaun Ryder. The surprise guests for this tour have not been announced yet.
