!!! will release their fourth studio album in the UK on August 23rd, and a day a later in the US, they revealed today. It will be their first record since the sudden death of their drummer Jerry Fuchs late last year. Entitled ‘Strange Weather, Isn’t It?‘, it is the follow-up to 2007′s ‘Myth Takes‘.
!!! formed in 1996 in California and released their debut album in 2001. Their dance/punk charged tracks have been acclaimed by critics, with their last album being described as ‘full of energy, intelligent and ferocious’. Tragedy struck the band last year when their drummer Jerry Fuchs, who had joined the group prior to the release of ‘Myth Takes‘, died after falling down an elevator shaft while attending a fundraising party in New York. He was 34 years old.
