Legendary New York hip-hop trioThe Beastie Boys are returning and according to their interview with Rolling Stone Magazine, album #8 entitled Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 1 is coming in September.

The LP is said to be reminiscent of their classic records Check Your Head and Paul’s Boutique. Expect to find guest feature appearances by talent such as Nas and Santigold on the disc.

The National have confirmed a special hometown performance for May 15 at BAM (The Brooklyn Academy of Music). The concert comes just days after the May 11 release of their anticipated new album ‘High Violet‘ (4AD). All ticket proceeds will benefit Red Hot, a leading international organization dedicated to fighting AIDS through pop culture.

On May 11, Villagers will release their limited edition ‘Becoming A Jackal‘ 7″ featuring the album track “Twenty-Seven Strangers” on the flip. Domino Records is now giving away a download of the single “Becoming A Jackal” to preview the 7″ and forthcoming debut album out June 8 in the U.S. Grab it here

MySpace Music presents “Muse: The Resistance Tour – Live from Seattle,” the first concert to be aired from the band’s sold out US tour. The show, which was filmed April 2, premieres today on the site and is available for streaming now HERE and via the image above. This special provides an unprecedented glimpse of Muse in their most comfortable setting, live in front of their fans on their purpose-built 360 stage.
