Lily Allen Leads The Way In Ivor Novello Nominations

This year’s Ivor Novello Awards nominations have been announced, with British stars Lily Allen and Dizzee Rascal leading the pack with two nominations each.

Lily Allen is named in the Best Song Musically & Lyrically category for her track ‘The Fear‘, while the 2009 single also gets a nod in the Most Performed Work section. Dizzee Rascal’s  ‘Bonkers‘ is nominated for the Best Contemporary Song, while his LP ‘Tongue N Cheek‘ is up against Paolo Nutini’sSunny Side Up‘ and The Duckworth Lewis Method’s self-titled record for the Album Award.

The prizes will be handed out a ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House on May 20th.
