MGMT have made the decision to put their new album ‘Congratulations‘ online after the record leaked onto the internet.
The New York-based duo, which consists of Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser, have streamed all 9 tracks on the website www.whoismgmt.com, and left a note to fans saying “Hey everybody, the album leaked, and we wanted you to be able to hear it from us. We wanted to offer it as a free download but that didn’t make sense to anyone but us.”
The album will be released physically on April 13th.
