Kings of Leon and Kasabian will headline this year’s V Fest in Chelmsford and Staffshire on August 21 and 22.
Kings Of Leon will top the bill on the Saturday at Hylands Park, with Stereophonics, Paul Weller, Editors and The Courteeners also playing on the Kings Of Leon day.
Kasabian have added another headline spot to their busy summer, and will be joined by the likes of Faithless, The Kooks and Paolo Nutini on the Sunday at Hylands Park.
David Guetta and The Prodigy will headline the 4Music Stage, which will also see performances from artists such as Florence & The Machine, White Lies and The Temper Trap. Elsewhere, Pet Shop Boys and Cheryl Cole will play The Arena.
Tickets for the event, which will take place at Hylands and Weston Park over the weekend of 21st and 22nd August, will go on sale at 10am on March 5th.
An excited Tom Meighan explained: “We feel it’s the right time for us to headline a festival.
“We’ve been playing so many festivals for so long, years and years. Our fans are going to love the show.”
