Kings of Leon have announced details of a massive outdoor concert this summer at Hyde Park London.
The headlining gig scheduled for June 30 will be the band’s biggest ever UK show.
Bassist Jared Followill (photo) declared that it was a “great honour” for the group to be playing the famous outdoor space.
“It’s something that a band can only dream of; to be put in the same category as the groups that have played before us is just unbelievable,” he added.
“Bring sun block and your earplugs.”
The band are currently writing and recording their fifth album, which is scheduled for release later in 2010.
