OK , so I know what your thinking: Does the world really need another book that describes the life of one of the most documented musicians, if not humans of modern day history? I guess a lot of folks will be very interested in what Yoko Ono has to report about her days with the Icon John Lennon and the story behind to what ultimately led to the split up of the Beatles.

“I would love to do it. I just have to find the time,” Ono said. “It will be my next book, which will be written in the next five years.”

The autobiography will focus on the duo’s intense courtship and relationship. In addition, the book will explore the myths surrounding Ono’s role in The Beatles’ breakup, the 1969 bed-in for peace and Lennon’s alcohol-fueled ‘Lost Weekend.’ Yahoo! UK reports

This is a turnabout for Ono, who was blamed by many Beatles’ fans for causing the iconic band to split, as in the past she stated she wouldn’t release a book of this nature for fear of hurting the families of people close to the group, including John’s ex-wife Cynthia Lennon and the son they had together, Julian.

“Unlike Cynthia, Yoko has never really told her side of The Beatles’ story and the truth about her affair and subsequent marriage to John, so the book will be much awaited.” a Beatles expert explained.

“She’s always maintained she never broke up The Beatles, so this will be her chance to put the record straight.”
