It has been revealed that the line up for Suede’s upcoming London date at the Royal Albert Hall in support of the Teenage Cancer Trust will not include influential guitarist Bernard Butler.
The band’s line-up will however include all the remaining members who worked on the albums ‘Coming Up’ in 1996 and ‘Head Music’ in 1999 – they are frontman Brett Anderson, bassist Mat Osman, drummer Simon Gilbert, guitarist Richard Oakes and keyboard player Neil Codling. The line-up recorded one other album together, ‘A New Morning‘, without Colding in 2002 after he departed in 2000.
Front man Richard Ashcroft of legendary Wigan rock band Verve has put the finishing touches on his latest album called ‘Redemption‘ which was recorded with his new backing band ‘United Nations of Sound‘ Their new video ,‘Are You Ready‘ can be viewed on YouTube exclusively.
Richard had briefly reunited with Verve’s original line-up June 2007, embarking on a tour later that year and releasing the album Forth in August 2008. The bliss only lasted a year as it was announced that the Verve had split up for the third time in their career in 2009.
