Having played to over 1 million fans on their world tour of 2009 , Placebo have announced the release of their new single “Bright Lights“. Dave Bascombe (Soulwax, Goldfrapp, LadyHawke and Funeral For A Friend) has mixed this new version for the band which is available on February 8th 2010.
The new single features remixes of the talented Alex Metric and Randomer .
Placebo recently won the coveted ‘Best Alternative’ award at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2009, a prize which is extra special, as it is voted on by the fans.
A digital Live album will be available exclusively on iTunes starting December 6th. ‘Placebo Live at the Round House’ features 19 songs recorded live in London in July of 09.
