The Week’s UK Charts for December 13

Reality TV star Susan Boyle tops the Album Chart for a third week with her huge selling album ‘I Dreamed a Dream‘. Lady Gaga’s album ‘Fame’ has risen 10 places to #2, while her single ‘Bad Romance‘ has climbed two places to top the Singles chart.

Electro group LMFAO have knocked Taken By Trees off the top of the Indie Chart with their track ‘Let The Bass Kick In Miami Girl‘. ‘The Dead Disciples‘, the latest single to be issued by Ash in their ‘A-Z’ series of releases, has entered the Indie Chart at #11.

Sting: ‘The Music Industry is in a Crises’

Sting has been having a rough time finding new music. The veteran rock star suggests that bands should ignore the dividing lines between the different music genres

He was quoted explaining to People:  “I was fortunate growing up in the ’60s because in England we only had one radio station,” “We had classical music, we had pop music, we had everything in between. So I grew up thinking that music was this one thing.
