New York-based band Vampire Weekend have announced details of a UK tour which will take place throughout February 2010. The dates will be in support of the group’s second album ‘Contra’, which is set for release on January 11th.

Leeds O2 Academy – 9th
Birmingham O2 Academy – 10th
Newcastle O2 Academy – 12th
Glasgow Barrowlands – 13th
Edinburgh Picture House – 14th
Brixton Academy – 16th
Tickets will go on sale on 6th November from 9am (GMT).
