Liam Gallagher Set For Live Return With Ex Oasis Members?

liam_radioFormer Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has revealed he is ready to return to the live scene “in a couple of months” following Oasis’ split in August.

In an interview with Italian radio station Deejay, Liam also hinted his live return may be with fellow former Oasis members Gem Archer and Andy Bell, performing under a new banner. “We’re (ex-Oasis members) sort of doing things at the moment,” he said. “Not Oasis, Oasis is done. Everyone except for Noel.”

Liam also revealed more about the fight in Paris which finally led to Oasis ending after suffering a turbulent 12 months leading up to their final argument in August. “I didn’t smash it on him, I wish I had, man,” he revealed. “He sort of treated my guitar poorly, which was a present off my wife, so I thought it was only fair to pay the compliment so I smashed one of his. It sounds ridiculous, like a pair of old women. That guitar of mine was mine. The guitar that I smashed of Noel’s was Oasis’ guitar. Part of the thing that I pay for. So I shouldn’t have smashed it really!”

Liam also told the station that he feels Noel had been wanting to leave the band for a while, and used their Paris argument as an excuse to leave: “To be quite honest, I think our kid wanted out. But you’ll have to ask him when he comes in and does his little solo thing. We had an argument – but we’ve had bigger ones, about more important people. Basically, I think he wanted out, wanted something different, but he hadn’t got the bollocks to tell the band or the fans.”

While Liam Gallgher seems to have his future plans finalised with his work with his former Oasis band mates and his new fashion label Pretty Green, brother Noel is still yet to confirm his own plans, with an apparent denial of an imminent solo album being issued earlier this month.
