U2 is considering releasing their own edition of the Rock Band game following the huge success of the recently released Beatles version.
Last year’s talks which the band held with MTV Games and Electronic Arts did not broker a deal .
U2’s bass player Adam Clayton explained: “We definitely would like to be in there but we felt some of the compromises weren’t what we wanted. That could change.
“I love the idea that’s where people are getting music and we’d love to be in that world.”
He added: “What The Beatles have done, with animation much more representative of them, is what we’re interested in, not one-size-fits-all.
“We didn’t want to be caricatured.”
Come on lads, it’s a video game and not a Imax Bio Pic, don’t kids want you to look like a caricature……?
Bono and Co are currently still in the midst of their 360 degrees US tour leg.
