London wunderkind Jamie T lays his sophomore album, Kings & Queens, at the feet of US audiences today, October 6th. Overflowing with raucous beats, dizzying lyrics, and disarming moments of tender transparency, Jamie’s new album shot to #2 on the UK charts in its first week. “Soon as I see the dust settle / Let’s go out and find some trouble,” he says on “Sticks N’ Stones.” Damned if I don’t wanna grab a jacket and join him…

Kings & Queens is Jamie’s first album since his ’07 debut Panic Prevention, which was widely acclaimed on both sides of the Atlantic: he won Best Solo Act at the NME Awards and was nominated for one of the the UK’s most prestigious music awards, The Mercury Prize. US critics threw around phrases like “genius,” “innovative,” “real deal,” “enthralling,” and “all time great British debuts.”
