Its not enough that I give you two great bands that deserve your love and attention, but this week both Lost Knives & Egyptian Hip Hop hail from the great city of Manchester. I will start off by giving you a band who not only breaks convention but seems to have created their own genre called Doss Pop.

Gossip website Holymoly.com claims to have unearthed more details of the Paris argument between Liam and Noel Gallagher which resulted in the band’s split in August.

The website claims a ‘mole’ has elaborated on the previous reports of the backstage altercation which alleged Noel smashed up his brother’s guitar before walking out on the band he had led for nearly 20 years. The website reports: “The papers quite rightly reported the fact that Noel stormed out from their gig in Paris a minute before they were due onstage because Liam smashed his guitar – but the whole five minutes the saga lasted were proper comedy. Allegedly Liam had brought his own acoustic guitar to play in the dressing room and a row erupted when Noel made a pithy comment about Liam’s playing.”
