Johnny Lydon has revealed Public Image Ltd. are set to reform, with plans for a UK tour in December.
Lydon formed PiL shortly after the disintegration of the Sex Pistols in 1978, along with former Clash member Keith Levene and long-term friend Jah Wobble. They released eight studio albums between 1978 and 1992, and issued the classic single ‘Rise’ in 1986. In keeping with the many line-up changes the band have gone through since ’78, Lydon will tour with new musicians including The Damned guitarist Lu Edmonds and ex-Slits drummer Bruce Smith.
