Although Kasabian front man Tom Meighan claims that the Brit rockers are enjoying a huge success in the United States he recently shared his impressions of American fans after the band’s tour across US.
The singer stated that fans in the United States are deluded about music. «Americans are deluded – not all of them – they think they’re ahead, but musically they’re not. They’re 30 years behind», said he.
Surprisingly Tom continued : «We’re like a cult band over there because we are on the radio. You have to be U2 or Coldplay to get radio play».
Kasabian’s third album West Pauper Ryder Lunatic Asylum was nominated for the coveted Mercury Music Prize last week.
