Blur guitarist Graham Coxon fought through a bout of food poisoning to ensure Blur headlined the final night at T in The Park on Sunday, a performance which singer Damon Albarn declared would be their last.

After arriving on stage over an hour and a half later than expected, Albarn told the crowd: “We nearly didn’t make it, Graham literally walked out of a hospital to come here. He’s alright. This is our last gig.”

Blur recently reformed for a series of gigs around the country, gaining widespread acclaim for headline appearences at Glastonbury and their own shows at Hyde Park, London. However, they have refused to be drawn on any future plans, with Graham Coxon recently saying: “As for going back into the studio, we don’t want any extraneous pressures. We’ll make sure everyone else has fun and then we’ll think about it afterwards.”

Blur again played a set packed with hits from their long career, with ‘Song 2’ getting an especially large response from the large Main Stage crowd.

The festival also saw headline sets from US heavyweights Kings Of Leon and The Killers, with other prominent acts such as Elbow, Doves, Snow Patrol and Manic Street Preachers also making an appearence at the event which is held in Perth and Kinross, Scotland.
